For KJ, a fiber network starts long before the first mile of cable.
It begins with the work of turning a community’s need into a fundable plan. At Total Highspeed, LLC, KJ brings grant strategy, contracts, and execution together as Chief Growth and Contracts Officer.
She completed the closing for ReConnect Round 1, then secured the entire funding for Rounds 2 and 4. Every one of the company’s seven Missouri BEAD applications was awarded.
The result: a $43.4 million BEAD fiber program, backed by $32.5 million in federal grants, reaching 8,389 rural locations. She also founded and leads Total Highspeed’s AI Initiative.

A former Director of Operations of the Ozarks Art Gallery, KJ now paints for pleasure and donates pieces to fundraising auctions. The work continues to find its way into something meaningful.
Successful Grand Prix Level Competitor and Endurance Racing Equestrian
Long before AI agents and publishing pipelines, there were horses. KJ’s equestrian life includes competition, endurance racing, and Sundog Farms, her Hanoverian breeding and training venture from 1997 to 2012.
She holds a patent for the Posturing Training Stirrup. The same impulse runs through her work: notice what could be better, then build it.
At home in the Missouri Ozarks, art and the outdoors leave room for a different pace.

Married for more than 25 years, KJ is the mother of a non-verbal autistic son and a successful, creative daughter. Her family sits at the heart of the life she is building.
Her legacy vision is a supervised residential campus for adults with autism: a place of dignity, community, and continuing support.
Her businesses, books, art, and systems are being built to help fund that future. It is a vision in development, and the thread that gives every chapter its meaning.
